Qualifications

• MBO-level education or equivalent praktische en technische kennis.
• Ervaring met hout, metaal of kunststof, of ervaing in stofferen.
• Technische aanleg en interesse in maatwerkoplossingen.
• Sterke focus op detail, kwaliteit en duurzaamheid.
• Zelfstandige en verantwoordelijke werkhouding.
• Goede samenwerkingsvaardigheden en oplossingsgerichte instelling.

Responsibilities

• Technische modificaties aan rolstoelen, communicatiemiddelen en andere aangepaste hulpmiddelen ontwerpen en uitvoeren.
• Werk met hout, metaal en kunststof en bekleding van diverse onderdelen.
• Onderhouden van werkplaatsmachines en gereedschappen.
• Samenwerken met aanpassingsspecialisten en collega's aan passende oplossingen.
• Bijdragen aan ideeën voor technische oplossingen en maatwerk waar nodig.
• Zorgen voor kwaliteit en duurzaamheid van elk project.

As a Workplace Technician, you will play an important role in creating practical, durable solutions for people with disabilities. You will translate the recommendations of adaptation specialists into customised technical solutions, using a range of materials and techniques. No two days are the same. One day, you might modify a wheelchair; the next, you could be working on communication equipment or another assistive device. With your technical knowledge and attention to detail, you will ensure that every solution meets the individual needs of the client.
