ARC’TERYX in Amsterdam is seeking a Wholesale Demand Planner - EMEA who owns regional and account-level demand forecasts, translating orderbook dynamics and assortment launches into a forward-looking view that informs supply and inventory decisions.

You will collaborate with merchandising, supply, FP&A and commercial teams, maintain a rolling 12–18-month forecast, and drive forecast accuracy through statistical models and scenario analysis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Merchandise Planning, or Forecasting in retail/wholesale.
  • Strong demand forecasting experience with statistical forecasting and baseline/account-level forecasts.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability to identify demand risks and mitigation steps.
  • Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills for reconciling complex data sets.
  • Strong understanding of retail KPIs and their link to wholesale demand decisions.
  • Experience with new product forecasting and lifecycle management.
  • Experience with advanced planning tools such as o9, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, Oracle (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining a rolling 12–18-month demand forecast at the regional and account level, incorporating orderbook data, customer commitments, and statistical models
  • Generating baseline statistical forecasts and reconciling top-down financial targets with bottom-up SKU-level projections
  • Evaluating multiple demand signals, including orderbook activity, sell-through performance, customer point-of-sale data (as available), and market trends to continuously improve forecast quality
  • Participating in the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle to build and align a consensus demand plan across regional and global stakeholders
  • Owning forecast accuracy and bias, driving continuous improvement in forecast performance
  • Driving forecast governance processes, ensuring assumptions, risks and forecast changes are documented, aligned and communicated across stakeholders
  • Partnering cross-functionally with Merchandise Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Account Services, FP&A, and Commercial to align the demand plan with business strategy

As a Wholesale Demand Planner - EMEA, you own the regional and account-level demand forecast that connects wholesale commercial signals to supply and inventory decisions. You sit at the intersection of data and cross-functional partnership, translating orderbook dynamics, customer commitments, and assortment launches into a forward-looking demand view that the business can act on. You will build and mature forecasting processes in a planning environment that is evolving, which means the work you do will directly shape how demand planning operates across the wholesale channel. The Wholesale Demand Planning - EMEA team translates global demand strategy into market-relevant plans by enriching the global demand plan with wholesale customer insights, account-level data, and on-the-ground market signals. The team bridges global planning intent with regional commercial reality, ensuring the demand plan reflects what is happening across wholesale accounts and channels.

Are you our next Wholesale Demand Planner - EMEA?
  • You have a bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field
  • You have 3-5+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Merchandise Planning, or Forecasting, preferably within a retail or wholesale environment
  • You have strong demand forecasting experience, including statistical forecasting knowledge and hands‑on experience building baseline and account-level forecasts
  • You have strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, with the ability to identify demand risks and translate them into actionable mitigation steps
  • You have advanced Excel and data manipulation skills, with the ability to reconcile complex data sets and translate outputs into clear business recommendations
  • You have a strong understanding of retail KPIs and how they connect to demand planning decisions across the wholesale channel
  • You have experience with new product forecasting and lifecycle management
  • You have experience with advanced planning tools such as o9, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, Oracle (preferred)
