Job summary

Hogan Lovells nodigt studenten uit die bijna klaar zijn met hun rechtenstudie uit om deel uit te maken van een wereldwijd, samenwerkend team in Amsterdam. Als Werkstudent Employment Unit arbeid je mee aan advisering in arbeidsrecht en ondersteun je bij internationale fusies, outsourcing en herstructurering.

Je ontwikkelt juridische analyses, schrijft memo's en blogs, en werkt aan presentaties. Samenwerking met Corporate & Finance biedt brede praktijkervaring en innovatie staat centraal.

Qualifications

• Enthousiast en ambitieus student in de laatste fase van een rechtenopleiding (WO).
• Aantoonde interesse en/of ervaring met arbeidsrecht.
• Initiatief, sterke communicatie- en sociale vaardigheden.

Responsibilities

• Adviseer en handel op het gebied van arbeidsrecht binnen een brede scope.
• Neem een zelfstandige positie binnen het kantoor en werk samen met andere units, vooral Corporate & Finance.
• Ondersteun cliënten in arbeidsrechtelijke bijstand bij internationale fusies en overnames, outsourcing en herstructureringen.
• Werk aan grensoverschrijdende projecten zoals samenwerking, beloningskwesties, naleving, privacy op de werkvloer en harmonisatie van arbeidsvoorwaarden.
• Analyseer juridische vraagstukken, schrijf memo's, blogs en adviezen, en bereidt presentaties voor.

Responsibilities

• Advise and proceed in employment law across a wide scope.
• Take an independent position within the firm and collaborate on matters and transactions with other units, especially Corporate & Finance.
• Support clients in employment-related support of international mergers and acquisitions, outsourcing projects and restructurings.
• Work on cross‑border projects such as co‑operation, remuneration issues, compliance, privacy on the workplace and harmonisation of employment conditions.
• Analyse legal issues, write internal memos, blogs and draft advice, and prepare presentations.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and ambitious student in the final stage of a law degree (WO).
• Demonstrated interest and/or work experience with employment law.
• Initiative, strong communication and social skills.
• Strong relational ability and eye for detail.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
