Job summary

Leaning Technologies Limited in Amsterdam is offering a paid 6-month internship in computer science and WebAssembly tooling starting April/May 2026. You will work on CheerpJ JIT improvements and a Nix-based testing infrastructure, guided by a senior developer.

The program includes one core project at a time, with 1-1 mentoring, in a flexible hybrid setup. Candidates must be enrolled in a BSc/MSc and have C/C++ experience plus the right to work in the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a BSc/MSc or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• Some practical C/C++ development experience.
• Understanding of object-oriented design principles.
• Residence and right to work in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Internship focuses on one core development project driven by you under 1-1 supervision of a senior developer.
• Project 1: Improve CheerpJ JIT by implementing self contained enhancements to the JIT.
• Project 2: Create a Nix-based testing infrastructure to fit in with CI.
