RespectFarms in the Netherlands is seeking a Researcher Reststreams to explore waste streams from the cultivated meat process and advance recyclability for practical use. You will develop cost-effective circular processes, set up methods to remove or isolate components from spent media, and write robust SOPs while collaborating with a small team.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in a relevant life sciences field with hands-on lab experience.
• Strong knowledge of cell metabolism and nutrient requirements is essential.
• Experience with animal cell culture is required.
• Experience with separation methods (ion exchange, dialysis, filtration) is beneficial.
• Analytical techniques such as HPLC/LC-MS/metabolomics are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate waste streams from the cultivated meat process and research recyclability and uses.
• Develop cost-effective circular processes and setup methods to remove/isolate components from spent media.
• Write robust SOPs and collaborate with a small team from lab to modular farming scale.
