Job summary

UPS Roermond zoekt een Warehouse Employee via Start People om zorg te dragen voor een soepele dagelijkse magazijn workflow. Je werkt met elektronische producten die gepickt, gecontroleerd, verpakt en verzendklaar gemaakt worden. Afdelingen en shifts verschillen; van 08:00-17:00 tot 06:00-15:00/15:00-00:00, met 40 uur per week.

Vaardigheden zoals EPT of vorkheftruck zijn een plus. Er is trainings- en groeimogelijkheid binnen UPS en een internationaal professioneel werkklimaat.

Qualifications

• Beheersen van Engels (spreken/begrijpen).
• Fysiek in staat om magazijnwerk uit te voeren.
• Beschikbaarheid voor 40 uur per week en een van de genoemde ploegen.
• Ervaring met magazijnwerk is een pluspunt.
• EPT/forklift-ervaring is een plus.

Responsibilities

• Picken van orders met handscanner.

Wat je gaat doen

As a Warehouse Employee at UPS in Roermond, you help make sure the daily warehouse process runs smoothly. You work with electronic products that need to be picked, checked, packed and prepared for shipment.

UPS has different departments and working hours. Depending on the department, you can work from 08:00 to 17:00, in two shifts from 06:00 to 15:00 and 15:00 to 00:00, or in shifts from 08:00 to 17:00 and 12:00 to 21:00.

Your tasks can include:

• Picking orders with a hand scanner;
• Checking and processing electronic products;
• Packing products and preparing them for shipment;
• Scanning products and processing them in the system;
• Checking the quality and quantity of products;
• Moving goods inside the warehouse;
• Loading and unloading goods;
• Working according to safety and quality rules.

Do you have experience with an EPT or forklift and valid certificates? Great! There are also opportunities at UPS where you can use these skills.

Functie-eisen

We are looking for someone who works carefully and likes to stay active. You also:

• Are available for 40 hours per week;
• Can speak and understand English;
• Are available for at least one of the mentioned shift schedules;
• Can work carefully and accurately;
• Are physically able to do warehouse work;
• Preferably have some warehouse experience;
• Experience with an EPT or forklift is a plus;
• Preferably have your own transport.
