Job summary

ZARA in Amsterdam seeks a Visual Merchandiser to bring the brand to life in-store. You will own product presentation and the customer journey, turning space into an engaging and inspiring experience that reflects the brand image and drives performance.

You combine creativity with analytics, using sales data and trends to decide on placement, layout and visual storytelling. You’ll work with managers to align priorities and ensure consistency across all in-store elements, while promoting inclusion

As a Visual Merchandiser, you take ownership of how the brand comes to life in the store. Through your eye for detail and strong commercial awareness, you transform product and space into an engaging and inspiring customer journey. You create an environment that not only reflects the brand image but also drives performance.

You combine creativity with analysis. You follow sales data, stock levels, and trends closely, using these insights to make decisions on product placement, layout, and visual storytelling. From highlighting key pieces to adapting displays based on performance, you ensure the right product is always in the right place at the right time.

Working closely with Department Managers and Commercial Managers, you align priorities and take action to optimize the store’s visual impact. You manage all in-store elements from mannequins to tables and overall layout ensuring consistency, quality, and attention to detail across every area.

You stay connected to the market, keeping up to date with trends and competitor activity, and translating these insights into relevant and inspiring in-store execution. At the same time, you contribute to a positive store environment, supporting collaboration, promoting Diversity & Inclusion, and ensuring all Health & Safety and sustainability standards are respected.

What you bring

This role suits someone who takes ownership of their work and has a strong sense of visual and commercial impact. You’re both creative and analytical, comfortable working with data as well as concepts. You are organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
