Job summary

Veloretti, Amsterdam’s design-led lifestyle brand, seeks a curious Video Intern to help capture the world of Veloretti in motion for social channels, website, and campaigns. You will collaborate with the creative team from idea to final cut, developing concepts and delivering finished videos that reflect Veloretti’s identity.

You will gain hands-on experience across product, lifestyle, people and events, with guidance and regular feedback.

Qualifications

• You are studying media, audiovisual production, filmmaking, or related field at MBO or HBO level.
• We welcome work placements and graduation internships.
• You are comfortable behind a camera and understand filming fundamentals.
• You have an eye for composition, pacing, storytelling and detail.
• You have editing experience in Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software.
• You are interested in social media, design, branding and visual culture.
• You work independently, take initiative and meet deadlines.
• You are comfortable communicating in English.
• You can share a portfolio/showreel demonstrating your video interest.

Responsibilities

• Video production: Shoot product, lifestyle, people and event content for brand channels.

About Veloretti

Veloretti is a design-led lifestyle brand from Amsterdam, founded on a clear vision of how people move through the city. We design bicycles and e-bikes for modern city life: functional, considered and created with close attention to design, detail and use. The product is central, but the brand goes beyond mobility. Veloretti operates at the intersection of design, lifestyle and urban culture.

Since 2022, Veloretti has been part of Pon.Bike. As we continue to grow across European cities, visual content plays an increasingly important role in how we build and express the brand, from everyday social content to campaigns, product launches and events.

About the role

As our Video Intern, you will help capture the world of Veloretti in motion. You will create video content for our social channels, website and marketing campaigns, working across product, lifestyle, people and events.

You will work closely with the creative and brand marketing team and be involved throughout the process: from developing an initial idea and preparing a shoot to filming, editing and delivering the final content.

In short: An internship for someone with a strong visual eye who wants to develop their filmmaking and editing skills while actively contributing to the content of a design-led lifestyle brand.

What you’ll do

• Video production: Shoot product, lifestyle, people and event content for our different brand channels.

• Short-form content: Create considered short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.

• Creative development: Contribute to concepts, moodboards, storyboards and shot lists for video productions.

• Storytelling: Capture people, products and everyday moments in a way that fits Veloretti’s visual identity.

• Editing: Edit and finish videos using Adobe Premiere Pro.

• Post-production: Work with music, sound, colour, transitions and basic motion graphics where relevant.

• Content delivery: Adapt and prepare videos for different channels, formats and aspect ratios.

• Creative productions: Support the creative team during campaign shoots and larger productions.

• Asset organisation: Help organise footage and project files so they are easy for the wider team to use.

This is who you are

You are a curious video creator with an eye for composition, movement, rhythm and detail. You understand that a strong video is not just technically well made, but starts with a clear idea and tells a focused story.

You enjoy working with others, but are also comfortable taking responsibility for your own work. You are open to feedback, eager to improve and unafraid to bring your own ideas to the table.

What you bring

• You are currently studying media, audiovisual production, filmmaking, content creation or a related subject at MBO or HBO level.

• We welcome applications for both work placements and graduation internships.

• You are comfortable behind a camera and understand the fundamentals of filming.

• You have a strong eye for composition, pacing, storytelling and detail.

• You have experience editing video in Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software.

• You are interested in social media, design, branding and visual culture.

• You work independently, take initiative and can manage agreed deadlines.

• You are comfortable communicating in English.

• You can share a portfolio, showreel or selection of work that demonstrates your interest in video.

Experience with After Effects, lighting equipment, sound, colour grading, motion graphics or Figma is a plus, but not a requirement. If you are also interested in graphic design, there will be opportunities to develop those skills alongside the creative team.
