Job summary

SBM Offshore in Rotterdam is seeking a Vessel Engineering Project Manager to deliver engineering scopes that enhance safety, efficiency and sustainability across offshore assets.

Lead across disciplines, coordinate with the Project Management Team, and ensure design deliverables meet project and regulatory requirements while protecting people, assets and the environment.

This role requires 10–15 years in Oil & Gas and a Diploma in Engineering.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years experience in Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong experience delivering fully integrated engineering scopes.
• Proven ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of FPSO hull and offshore project delivery.
• Familiarity with safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• You are accountable for the planning, execution, and closeout of your assigned engineering scope of work.
• You work across all engineering disciplines to ensure the engineering deliverables are completed on time, on budget, on quality and in accordance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
• You are responsible for delivering the fully integrated engineering scope of work and coordinating with all other members of the Project Management Team (PMT).
• You are responsible for the engineering design of your assigned scope of work.
• You ensure the engineering deliverables meet the project and Company requirements and are engineered to protect people, assets and the environment.
