Job summary

Envida in Maastricht is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support elderly and chronically ill clients in community and intramural settings. You will provide personal care, perform nursing procedures, and coordinate with informal caregivers to improve quality of life.

Healthcare Assistant – Envida

In community care, you help clients maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. What does this position look like?

In community care, you start the day at one of the neighborhood locations. Briefly review the schedule with your colleagues, share experiences, and then head out to your clients. You assist with personal care and perform nursing procedures such as wound care and administering injections. You also keep a close eye on how your clients are doing. Changes in health or home situation? You identify and report these immediately. You consult with informal caregivers and colleagues to coordinate care as effectively as possible. You are also responsible for providing substantive input regarding the application for the (re)assessment. And the best part: you truly build a bond with your clients.

When working in a care center, you provide personal care, but you are also a specialist in technical nursing procedures. You ensure that clients receive the right care according to the care plan and identify changes in their situation. Sometimes this means offering a listening ear, sometimes acting quickly in an acute situation. Your work focuses on the (psychosocial) support, rehabilitation, and reactivation of the client and informal caregivers. Your expertise and commitment make the difference.

• You will be employed directly by Envida in Maastricht, with an immediate permanent contract.
• This is a position of 18 to 36 hours per week, with various shifts and working hours. You will work a weekend shift every other week.
• Every month you receive a gross salary in accordance with the VVT collective labor agreement, FWG 40 (based on 36 hours).
• Supplemented by annual holiday allowance (8,33%), an end-of-year bonus, and irregular working hours allowances between 22% and 60%.
• Your pension accrual is handled through Stichting Pensioenfonds Zorg en Welzijn.
