Job summary

TMC is seeking a Vehicle Controls Engineer in Amsterdam/Eindhoven area to design, develop, and optimize control systems for vehicle dynamics. You will work on chassis, braking, steering, and powertrain integration using model-based development tools like MATLAB and Simulink to validate control algorithms.

Collaborating with software, systems, and hardware engineers, you will ensure safety and performance standards are met across vehicle systems, conducting testing on benches and vehicles.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing vehicle-level control systems.
• Strong background in model-based development and simulation.
• Proficient with embedded software and ECU platforms.
• Familiar with safety and performance standards in automotive systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement vehicle-level control strategies for chassis, braking, steering, and powertrain integration.
• Model, simulate, and analyze dynamic vehicle behavior to optimize performance and stability.
• Work with embedded software and ECU platforms to implement and test control algorithms.
• Conduct testing and validation on test benches and vehicles.
• Collaborate with software, systems, and hardware engineers across multidisciplinary teams.
