Job summary

Danone NL in Hoofddorp invites you to join the VAT team as a VAT Intern. You will support VAT compliance, reporting, and process improvement in an international Finance environment, starting October 2026 for at least six months, 4–5 days a week.

You work with Excel, and SAP knowledge is a plus, analyzing data, preparing VAT returns, Intrastat declarations, ESLs, and assisting audits. This internship offers a 650 EUR gross monthly allowance, a home-working allowance, and a hybrid setup across

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's student in Tax Law, Fiscal Economics, Accounting, Finance, Tax specialization or related field for entire duration of internship.
• Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Support the VAT team during a temporary period with day-to-day VAT compliance activities.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT returns, Intrastat declarations, and ESL.
• Help ensure all VAT filings are completed accurately and on time.
• Provide support in gathering and organizing documentation for audits and internal reviews.
• Contribute to maintaining the quality and consistency of VAT reporting.
• Assist the team during peak periods and help improve efficiency of recurring processes.
