Job summary

QPS Netherlands is seeking a Validation Engineer to ensure laboratory equipment, software, and facilities remain validated across two Groningen locations. You will work closely with laboratory teams and external partners to execute IQ/OQ/PQ, coordinate calibrations, and maintain controlled documentation.

The role emphasizes hands-on validation, quality systems compliance, and training colleagues to sustain high-quality operations within a CRO setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Experience with equipment validation in regulated environments.
• Strong documentation and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform IQ/OQ/PQ (and requalification) for lab equipment and related software.
• Maintain validated state of equipment, software and facilities through maintenance and calibration.
• Prepare validation protocols, reports, equipment records and SOPs.
• Troubleshoot issues using risk assessment and root-cause analysis and implement solutions.
• Support selection, implementation and validation of new equipment and software.
• Train and advise laboratory personnel within the QPS quality system.
