Job summary

Jobster in Nijmegen zoekt een monteur met passie voor zware voertuigen. Je voert onderhoud en reparaties uit aan vrachtwagens en trailers en documenteert alle werkzaamheden nauwkeurig.

Daarnaast kun je APK-inspecties uitvoeren als je gecertificeerd bent of bereid bent dit te halen. Je werkt in een tweeploegensysteem van maandag tot vrijdag, met af en toe avonden en zaterdagen in een internationale omgeving.

Qualifications

• MBO niveau 3 of gelijkwaardig werk- en denkniveau.
• Ervaring als autotechnicus of diploma in automotive.
• APK-inspector certificaat of bereidheid dit te halen.
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in Nederlands en Engels.

Responsibilities

• Onderhoud en storingsdiagnose aan vrachtwagens en opleggers.
• Voertuiginspecties (APK) uitvoeren indien gecertificeerd.
• Onderdelen controleren, repareren en vervangen.
• Nieuwe voertuigen voorbereiden voor gebruik.

Job description

Do you like working with heavy vehicles and do you have a strong interest in mechanics? Are you already experienced as a car mechanic, or have you recently completed your automotive diploma and are you ready for the next step? Then this position as a truck mechanic could be perfect for you.

In this role, you will work on trucks and trailers instead of passenger cars. You will be responsible for maintaining the fleet and ensuring every vehicle remains in excellent technical condition. Thanks to your efforts, the vehicles can safely operate throughout Europe.

Your daily tasks include:

• Carrying out maintenance and solving technical malfunctions on trucks and trailers;
• Performing vehicle inspections (APK or similar), if you are certified;
• Inspecting, repairing, and replacing various parts and materials;
• Preparing newly delivered vehicles for operational use;
• Correctly documenting all completed maintenance and repair work.

You will work in a two-shift system from Monday through Friday. In addition, you will occasionally work evening shifts and participate in Saturday and breakdown services.

Jouw nieuwe werkplek

You will become part of an internationally active logistics company located in Nijmegen. The company focuses on transporting refrigerated products to multiple European countries, including France and the United Kingdom.

All maintenance work is carried out in the workshop in Nijmegen, where the full fleet is serviced and repaired. You will work together with a team of around 12 colleagues. The atmosphere within the company is friendly and informal, with teamwork, humor, and professionalism playing an important role in daily operations.

Dit vragen wij van jou

• You have completed an MBO education or have a working and thinking level equivalent to MBO level 3;
• You have experience as a car mechanic or have obtained an automotive diploma;
• You possess an APK inspector certificate or are willing to earn one;
• You can communicate well in both Dutch and English within the workplace.
