Job summary

Jobster in Nijmegen zoekt een vrachtwagenmonteur om ons fleet in topcond2itie te houden. Je voert onderhoud uit, lost technische problemen op en bereidt voertuigen voor op dagelijkse inzet.

Je werkt in twee dienstoverslagen van maandag tot vrijdag, met af en toe avonden en weekenddiensten. Een collegiale sfeer en ruimte voor training staan centraal.

Qualifications

• Beheersing van basis onderhoud en inspecties.
• Kunnen communiceren in het Nederlands en Engels op de werkvloer.
• Bereidheid tot vervolgtraining en certificering.

Responsibilities

• Onderhoud en technische problemen oplossen bij vrachtwagens en opleggers.
• Voertuiginspecties uitvoeren (APK) indien gecertificeerd.
• Evalueren en repareren van diverse onderdelen en systemen.
• Nieuwe voertuigen klaarstomen voor dagelijks gebruik.
• Documenteren van uitgevoerde werkzaamheden en reparaties.

Job description

Do you enjoy working with large vehicles and do you have a strong interest in engineering? Then this truck mechanic position might be exactly what you are looking for. In this role, you ensure the fleet stays in excellent condition. Thanks to your technical skills, trucks and trailers can safely transport goods throughout Europe.

Your responsibilities include:

• Performing maintenance and resolving technical issues on trucks and trailers;
• Carrying out vehicle inspections (APK or similar), if you are certified;
• Inspecting and repairing various equipment and components;
• Preparing new vehicles for daily operation;
• Accurately documenting completed work and repairs.

You will work in a two-shift schedule from Monday to Friday. In addition, you will occasionally work evening shifts and participate in Saturday and breakdown services.

Jouw nieuwe werkplek

You will join an international logistics company located in Nijmegen. The organization specializes in transporting refrigerated products to several European countries, including the United Kingdom and France.

All maintenance activities take place in the workshop in Nijmegen, where the complete fleet is serviced. You will become part of a team of around 12 colleagues. The atmosphere is open and friendly, with strong teamwork, room for humor, and a shared focus on quality and safety.
