Job summary

Gerritsen Logistics is seeking a flexible truck driver to support our transport operations across the fleet. You will drive various trucks, handle loading and securing cargo, and adapt to changing routes and schedules while maintaining safety and independence.

The role offers national and occasional international transports, with duties varying day to day and opportunities to gain experience in different transport assignments.

Qualifications

• Valid CE driving licence with Code 95 required.
• Experience as a truck driver.

Gerritsen Logistics specialises in industrial machinery relocations and the transport of machinery, mobile and wheeled equipment. No two days are the same, especially in this role.

As a flexible driver, you will be able to work across our fleet. You step in wherever additional support is needed and drive whichever truck is available at the time. One day you may be driving one truck, the next day you could be behind the wheel of another. If you enjoy variety and adapting to new situations, this is the job for you.

You don't need to be an expert in everything from day one. What matters most is that you're eager to learn, flexible and ready to take on new challenges.

What will you do?

As a flexible truck driver at Gerritsen Logistics, you will support our transport operations wherever needed. Your duties and routes may vary from day to day.

• You transport goods nationally and, depending on the assignment, internationally.
• You transport machinery, mobile and wheeled equipment, and other goods.
• You drive different trucks within our fleet, depending on availability and planning requirements.
• You ensure cargo is loaded, unloaded and secured safely.
• You assist with a variety of transport assignments and gain experience in different types of transport.
• You communicate with the planning team and coordinate your work with colleagues.
• You take good care of the trucks, equipment and cargo.
• You work safely, think in solutions and adapt easily when plans change.

Depending on your experience and the assignment, you may also be involved in ADR transport or other specialist transport activities, provided you hold the required certificates and have the necessary knowledge.

Who are you?

You're a hands-on driver who enjoys variety and is happy to work with different trucks and take on different responsibilities. You don't need to know everything already, but you must be willing to learn and develop your skills.

In addition:

• You hold a valid CE driving licence and Code 95 qualification.
• You have experience as a truck driver. Experience in specialist transport is an advantage, but is not essential for every assignment.
• You are flexible and comfortable driving different trucks.
• You can adapt to changing duties and schedules.
• You work independently and take responsibility for your work.
• You are careful, safety-conscious and solution-oriented.
• You are willing to learn new tasks and support colleagues when needed.
• You speak Dutch and/or English.
