Job summary

Roveg Fruit BV is seeking a CE Driver to transport fresh fruit and vegetables across the Netherlands and Belgium. You will be home every evening, with early starts for container transport and a typical 50-hour week.

The role offers full- or part-time options, a modern Scania truck, paid Code 95 training, a 13th month, travel allowance and CAO-based salary. You’ll work independently within a close-knit, international family-owned company.

Qualifications

Job description

Do you enjoy being on the road and want to work with modern equipment, varied routes and be home every evening?

As a CE Driver, you are responsible for transporting fresh fruit and vegetables safely, carefully and on time. You will drive various routes throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. Your work will mainly focus on container transport, combined with distribution routes when required by the schedule.

Your responsibilities include:

• Transporting fresh fruit and vegetables to customers, suppliers and distribution centres.
• Performing distribution and container transport.
• Loading and unloading the truck using an electric pallet truck when necessary.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Correctly completing transport documents.
• Maintaining contact with the transport planning team.
• Working according to applicable traffic, safety and company regulations.

You will mainly work day shifts and be home every evening. When driving container transport, your working day may start early, around 03:30 - 04:00. You will usually finish earlier as a result. A full-time driver works approximately 50 hours per week on average, depending on waiting times at the terminals.

You will also work approximately one Saturday morning every three to four weeks according to a fixed rotation schedule. Both full-time and part-time employment are possible.

Who are you?

• You have a valid CE driving licence, Code 95 and a valid driver qualification card.
• Experience as a CE Driver is an advantage.
• You have an independent, responsible and flexible attitude.
• You have a good command of either Dutch or English.
• You work carefully and handle vehicles, equipment and products responsibly.
• You are customer-oriented and enjoy working independently on the road.
