Job summary

dsm‑firmenich is seeking a Transfer Pricing Manager in Maastricht, Netherlands. You will manage the existing transfer pricing model, support new business models, and oversee margins for routine entities.

The role collaborates with Finance, Tax, Supply Chain and local teams across borders to ensure practical, compliant TP execution. You will coordinate master and local files, country‑by‑country reporting inputs, and TP documentation cycles, driving data quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of transfer pricing experience in consultancy/advisory and/or industry tax function.
• Strong understanding of operational transfer pricing, routine entity margins, intercompany pricing and documentation standards.
• Experience preparing or coordinating master file, local file and country‑by‑country reporting deliverables.

• Manage operational transfer pricing for routine entities, including monitoring, analyzing and supporting adjustment of margins in line with approved policies.
• Prepare and coordinate transfer pricing documentation, including master file, local files and country‑by‑country reporting inputs.
• Support transfer pricing aspects of business changes, supply‑chain flows, intercompany transactions and local implementation requirements.
• Work with Finance, Controlling and local teams to improve data quality, process discipline and timely execution of transfer pricing activities.
• Support transfer pricing controversy and audits, including preparation of factual analyses, responses and supporting documentation.
• Contribute to broader tax work where transfer pricing intersects with indirect tax, customs or tax audit matters.

As Transfer Pricing Manager, you will play a hands‑on role in keeping our global transfer pricing model practical, compliant and connected to business performance. You will manage the existing TP model and work on any new business model, manage routine entity margins, support transfer pricing documentation and help translate policy into day‑to‑day execution across the organization. This is an opportunity to work closely with Finance, Tax, Supply Chain and local teams in a global environment. You will bring structure, ownership and a pragmatic mindset to operational transfer pricing work, including audits and documentation cycles. The role is based in Maastricht and offers broad exposure to cross‑border tax matters in a business with strong international reach.

Your key responsibilities

You bring

• 5‑7 years of relevant transfer pricing experience gained in consultancy/advisory and/or in an industry tax function
• Strong understanding of operational transfer pricing, routine entity margin management, intercompany pricing and documentation standards
• Experience preparing or coordinating master file, local file and country‑by‑country reporting deliverables
• Ability to work with financial data, translate technical rules into practical operational actions and partner effectively with Finance teams
• Clear communication skills in business English, with the confidence to engage stakeholders across countries and functions
• Growth mindset with strong interest in tax technology, automation, data analytics and artificial intelligence, with the confidence to challenge existing ways of working and leverage innovative solutions to create a more efficient, scalable and data‑driven tax function
