Overview

Talent&Pro – Trainee (Data & IT) opportunity in Amsterdam, North Holland. The role includes an onboarding program, practical assignments at leading organizations, training in Python, SQL, Power BI, Agile/Scrum and LEAN, and a clear growth path after the Talentfase.

Responsibilities

• Begin with the best onboarding program; participate in detacheringsopdrachten bij toonaangevende organisaties zoals a.s.r., Nationale Nederlanden en ASN Bank; gain practical experience in data & IT.
• Follow trainings and obtain certificates in areas such as Data Science Fundamentals, SQL and Power BI.
• Learn how insurance, pensions and financial processes work and develop important skills and domain knowledge.
• Work with a People Manager to plan your growth path; after completing the Talentfase specialize in one of the three directions.
• Contribute to projects and develop your soft skills (communication with stakeholders, presenting, effective influencing, assertiveness).

Your development as a trainee

The traineeship is for an indefinite period and begins in the talent phase. You start with a solid foundation: learn the sector, gain operational experience, and develop technical skills. The training program provides the theory needed for your professional IT development. You will attain various certificates in areas such as Data Science Fundamentals, SQL and Power BI. You will also take soft skills training (proactivity, self-management, assertiveness, effective influencing, stakeholder communication, presenting). You will be supported by a People Manager and have access to YODA, Talent&Pro’s platform for personal development.

Requirements

• Hold an HBO or WO diploma or be in the final stages of your studies, and be available for 32-40 hours per week
• A starter on the job market with focus on both professional and personal development
• No STEM background required, but interest in data and IT is important
• Curious about tools like Python, SQL and Power BI and willing to learn
• Communicative and analytical
• Flexible, enthusiastic about detachering; willing to travel to the Randstad, with possible hybrid work
