Job summary

TIP Group is looking for a hands-on Trailer Mechanic to keep trailers safe, reliable, and road-ready in their Rotterdam workshop. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and carry out preventive maintenance to keep fleets moving smoothly.

Ideal candidates bring practical repair experience in trailers or related vehicles, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a skilled team. Dutch or English communication is valued.

Qualifications

• MBO-level vocational education or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience as a mechanic in automotive, truck, trailer, agricultural, or similar industries.
• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Good communication skills in either Dutch or English.
• The ability to work independently while being a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on trailers.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and technical faults.
• Conducting safety and technical inspections.
• Preparing trailers for operational use.
• Working closely with fellow technicians in a professional workshop environment.

Your role

As a Trailer Mechanic , you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers' trailers remain in excellent condition. You'll diagnose issues, carry out repairs, and perform preventive maintenance to keep fleets moving safely and efficiently.
