Job summary

BIKEBAZE in Rotterdam is seeking a self-directed video creator to build our social presence. You’ll own the content from concept to posting, with no red tape and direct access to the founder.

You’ll shoot and edit TikToks, Reels, and LinkedIn posts, test what resonates, and grow with a fast-moving startup focused on bike theft solutions. Hybrid workspace in Rotterdam with internship allowance and portfolio-ready results.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated video creation on TikTok, Reels or similar
• Ability to edit videos using CapCut or Premiere
• Self-directed and able to operate with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Create content that drives engagement across TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn
• Design formats that perform well on social platforms
• Shoot, edit and post content independently
• Test, learn and iterate weekly to improve results
• Write captions, scout trends, manage comments and interactions
• Report weekly on growth and performance of posts

What you'll do

• You get one clear mission: make our TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn explode. You run it yourself, with carte blanche.
• You design content formats that work.
• You shoot, edit and post yourself.
• You test, learn, repeat, every week.
• You handle captions, trend-scouting, comments, everything.
• You report weekly on what is growing and what is not.

No long meetings, no waiting for approvals on every post, no five people polishing your content. One person in charge: you.

Who you are

• You have demonstrably made videos, TikToks or Reels before: own account, previous internship, or freelance.
• You handle CapCut, Premiere or similar without thinking about it.
• You're self-directed: if we say nothing, you know what to do.
• You enjoy a fast-growing startup where mistakes are OK; even better, where mistakes are how we learn what works.

Why this is interesting

BIKEBAZE tackles a problem the whole of the Netherlands deals with: more than 750,000 bikes stolen every year. We're building the #1 bicycle registration platform in the Netherlands. A community-driven solution to bike theft, scaling internationally.

For social that means: there are plenty of stories to tell. Emotional "bike-found" moments, thief tactics, cycling culture, behind-the-scenes of a startup, partnerships with municipalities and police.
