Job summary

ITProposal in the Netherlands seeks a Senior Tester to join an Agile/DevOps team, ensuring the quality of applications through manual and automated testing. You will share knowledge and contribute to testing best practices across teams.

You will develop and maintain automated tests for frontend and backend applications, collaborate with developers, and help drive CI/CD with a focus on quality and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• HBO-level education or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Agile and/or DevOps environments.
• 4+ years applying context-driven testing techniques.
• 3+ years extensive test automation experience.
• Strong in Playwright, Java, TypeScript/Node.js, REST-Assured, Cucumber, Swagger, SQL, XML/eXML, JSON.
• Experience with both manual testing and test automation.
• Familiar with coding conventions, TDD, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Tester to join an Agile/DevOps development team and ensure the quality of applications through manual and automated testing. The Senior Tester will also contribute to knowledge sharing and testing best practices across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and automated testing within Agile/Scrum sprints.

• Work with Playwright, Java, REST-Assured, Cucumber, and Swagger.
• Support test-driven development and continuous integration/deployment.

• For senior level: share knowledge, coach testers, and contribute to QA standards across teams.

Requirements

• HBO-level education or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Agile and/or DevOps environments.
• Minimum 4 years of experience applying context-driven testing techniques.
• Minimum 3 years of extensive test automation experience, beyond low-code frameworks.
• Strong experience with:
