Job summary

KEMA Labs, part of CESI, invites a Test Specialist to join the High-Power Lab in Arnhem. You will perform short-circuit tests, set up measurement configurations, and contribute to test result analysis and customer reporting.

The role involves working in shifts, with opportunities for own projects in calibration, safety, and R&D. We expect a solid foundation in electrical engineering, the ability to work under pressure, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• MBO 4 Electrical Engineering level.
• Interest in high voltage / power current engineering.
• Flexible attitude with respect to working hours.
• Ability to work in teams and independently.
• Ability to work under stress with high responsibility of executing tests correctly and accurately.
• Good written and verbal command of English; native Dutch preferred.

Responsibilities

• The execution of short circuit tests, assembling, analyzing, and disassembling measurement set-ups.
• Preparing the test set-ups (controls, measurements).
• Maintenance and repair of installations and measurement equipment.
• Analyzing results and reporting to the customer after tests.
• Conducting sensitive measurements.
• Executing tests under guidance of the test engineer.
• Managing personal projects in camera calibration, safety, and R&D when not testing.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Test Specialist to join our High Power Lab!

What You Will Do

• The execution of short circuit test, assembling, analyzing, and disassembling measurement set-ups.
• Preparing the test set-ups (controls, measurements).
• Working on maintenance and repair of installations and measurement equipment
• Following the completion of the test for analyzing the results and reporting to the customer.
• Conducting sensitive measurements .
• Executing tests under guidance of the test engineer.
• Outside of testing you will have your own projects in the fields of your interest (camera's calibration, safety, R&D etc.).

What You Bring

• MBO 4 Electrical Engineering level.
• Interest in high voltage / power current engineering.
• Flexible attitude with respect to working hours (willing to do night shifts and occasional overtime).
• Ability to work both in teams and independently.
• Ability to work under stress with high responsibility of executing tests correctly and accurately in cooperation with the test engineer.
• Good written and verbal command of the English language. Native Dutch is preferred.

• Permanent contract (after two months' probation period).
• Salary indication €3.000- 4.000 gross per month, based on 38 hrs/w
• 30 annual leave days, with the option to buy or sell 10 days.
