Job summary

Werckpost in the Netherlands seeks a Terminal Tractor Driver to position and uncouple trailers with containers accurately on the terminal, following the loading and unloading list to ensure everything is correct.

You will move trailers for hinterland or sea transport, navigate the busy yard safely, and assist with forklift tasks. The role emphasizes efficiency, precision, and a positive team spirit in a dynamic port environment.

Qualifications

• You have a B or T driver's license.
• Experience in container transport and/or working in the port is a must.
• Possession of a forklift certificate is an advantage, or willingness to obtain one. A terminal tractor certificate makes us extra happy!
• You are willing to work night shifts.
• Flexibility and a proactive attitude to ensure that the work gets done are a matter of course for you.

Responsibilities

• Position and uncouple trailers with containers according to the schedule.
• Check the loading/unloading list to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate transport of trailers to hinterland or seaborne destinations.
• Maneuver safely and damage-free around the terminal and assist with forklift tasks.
• Contribute to a pleasant working environment with great colleagues.
