Job summary

WLG is seeking an experienced TEMPEST testing lead to manage all aspects of the TEMPEST testing programme at a NATO site in Brunssum, Netherlands. You will oversee installation, certification, and maintenance of the testing facility and conduct SDIP 27 level testing on commercial data processing equipment.

The role requires genuine TEMPEST/emanations security testing experience, knowledge of SDIP standards, precise measurement discipline, and the ability to guide others through a facility test

Qualifications

• Genuine TEMPEST or emanations security testing experience required.
• Working knowledge of SDIP standards and rating allocation practicalities.
• Requires disciplined instrumentation, measurement, and certification record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Organising, leading and coordinating every aspect of the TEMPEST level testing programme.
• Directing installation, modification, certification and maintenance of the testing facility.
• Performing TEMPEST level testing of commercial data processing equipment to SDIP 27 standards.
• Evaluating electric radiation signals for compromising emanations and allocating the SDIP 27 Level B or C rating.
• Investigating to detect emanations that could disclose classified information.
• Acceptance testing of equipment certified by authorised vendors against its allocated rating.
• Acting as the subject matter expert across all aspects of TEMPEST testing.
