Job summary

bunq is seeking a Technology Risk Officer to own and strengthen the resilience of our ICT infrastructure in Amsterdam. You will test controls, surface weaknesses earlier, and apply AI to automate testing and evidence collection at scale.

You will lead continuity and disaster recovery drills, coordinate across technical and business teams, and drive remediation from discovery to resolution with strong risk judgment and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Experience in ICT resilience and architecture.
• Proven ability to design and run automated control tests.
• Strong analytical skills to distinguish signal from noise.

Responsibilities

• Continuously test and challenge bunq's ICT infrastructure to surface weaknesses and verify controls actually work, using AI where possible.
• Interpret test results to prioritize remediation and reduce operational risk.
• Lead business continuity and disaster recovery testing across technology, processes and suppliers.
• Coordinate across technical and business teams to drive weaknesses through to resolution.
