Job summary

ISW Sweelincklaan is seeking a Technical Education Assistant (TOA) for 0.8–1.0 FTE starting 1 August 2026. The role involves assisting physics, chemistry and biology teachers, preparing and supervising experiments, and maintaining lab safety and organization.

The position offers opportunities for professional development within the BiNaSk Vakken program. The candidate should have a technical mindset, classroom supervision experience, and a willingness to learn BiNaSk subjects.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge in BiNaSk subjects (biology, physics, chemistry) or the willingness to acquire it.
• Preferably a completed qualification as analyst/laboratory technician or a Technical Education Assistant (level 4).

Responsibilities

• Assist physics, chemistry and biology teachers in preparing and conducting practicals and lessons.
• Keep practicums rooms organized and ensure materials and equipment are available on time.
• Support teachers during lessons and experiments and supervise students during practical work.
