Job summary

Zuidgeest is seeking 7 technicians for a six-month project in the Rotterdam Botlek area, starting in June. Work involves installation tasks in a technical environment with international exposure and potential extensions. You’ll join a team of professionals and gain opportunities for additional certifications.

Full-time on-site shifts, Monday to Friday 07:00–17:00, with Saturdays often in scope. English proficiency is essential; Dutch/German are a plus.

Qualifications

• Good command of English (spoken and written) is required.
• Experience as a technician, preferably in industry or installations.
• VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one.

Job description

Are you an experienced technician looking for a great project?
For a large ventilation project in the Botlek area, we are looking for 7 technicians to carry out installation work in a technical environment.

This job will last approximately six months (with possible extension), starting in June and takes place in the Rotterdam Botlek area. You will be working for an international company.

This company is a specialist in ventilation systems for power plants, nuclear facilities, and large industrial factories. They handle everything in-house: planning, construction, maintenance, and testing. They also produce filters, valves, air ducts, heating, and cooling systems. It’s a strong company with a long history. They work on impressive projects all over the world — including in the Netherlands. Wherever quality and reliability are critical, this company is ready to deliver.

What will you do?

• Assemble large blocks inside technical units
• Work in confined spaces (no breathing apparatus needed, but a face mask is required)
• Collaborate with colleagues and assistants on all related tasks
• Perform maintenance work inside the units

What do we offer you?

• A gross salary of approximately €18.00 per hour. Paid weekly or every 4 weeks — your choice!
• A great project with an international technical company for about six months, possibly longer
• Fixed day shifts in a stable schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:00–17:00. Work on Saturdays is also common

What do we expect from you?

• Good command of English, both spoken and written — this is a must. Dutch and German are a plus but not required
• Experience as a technician (preferably in industry or installations)
• A VCA certificate (or willingness to obtain one through us)
• Comfortable working in small or confined spaces
• A Category B driving license is required. If you don’t have a car, you may be eligible for our car arrangement — we’ll gladly tell you more about the conditions
• Certifications such as flange mechanic, VVL, or forklift license are a plus. If you don’t have them yet, you can obtain them through us — we’re happy to support your development
• Full-time availability and willingness to work on Saturdays as well
• Willingness to work as a payroll employee — unfortunately, we don’t have opportunities for self-employed (ZZP) workers
