Job summary

Plukon Food Group is seeking a Technical Application & Integration Support Engineer to keep Poultry Master and connected systems running reliably across Europe. You will investigate incidents, support integrations, and contribute to CI/CD improvements.

You will collaborate with IT teams across the Netherlands and other European countries in a remote role with occasional travel to the Netherlands. Strong English and technical communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in application support, APIs, integrations or technical software environments.
• Strong PostgreSQL and SQL knowledge, including complex queries and relational database concepts.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON and troubleshooting system integrations.
• Practical experience with Git, GitHub and an understanding of CI/CD concepts.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills, combined with fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Investigate incidents across application, integration, database and infrastructure layers to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Analyse PostgreSQL databases, validate data quality and troubleshoot data inconsistencies using advanced SQL techniques.
• Support and troubleshoot APIs, integrations and data exchanges between applications.
• Contribute to GitHub repository management, CI/CD processes and deployment activities.
• Learn and support technical configurations within the Rappit low-code platform.
• Coordinate technical investigations with internal IT teams and document solutions to recurring issues.
• Identify structural improvements that increase platform stability and operational efficiency.
