Job summary

Riverflex is seeking a Director, Tech Risk & Compliance to lead compliance initiatives for a major European FMCG group. This hybrid role involves aligning technology risk and compliance with business strategy and operational resilience, ensuring adherence to standards like GDPR and EU AI Act.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in risk management, a solid track record of coherent agenda-setting, and the ability to operate at C-suite levels. This is a 6-month contract position with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• Director-level leader with experience in technology risk and compliance.
• Proven track record of translating compliance demands into a coherent agenda.
• Strong knowledge of DORA equivalent resilience expectations.
• Credible at C-suite level and comfortable operating with cybersecurity teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the point of coherence for compliance demands.
• Design and run risk and compliance governance frameworks.
• Define the future-state vision for IT risk and compliance.
• Own the Tech organization’s posture on GDPR and other regulations.
