Job summary

DNW — the Dutch-German Wind Tunnels — seeks a Team Leader Facilities to guide a 10–15 person team across Amsterdam and Marknesse. You will oversee facilities, safety, and infrastructure, and contribute to wind tunnel projects with technical input.

The role emphasizes developing facilities documentation, ensuring continued operation, and coordinating with Tunnel Operations. Dutch and English language skills are required; German is a plus. A strong engineering background is expected.

Qualifications

• High school or university level technical thinking and a background in engineering or related technical field.
• Proven experience leading a technical team and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Good command of Dutch and English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Facilities team to ensure optimal uptime and safety of DNW facilities and related infrastructure.
• Support execution of wind tunnel projects and other initiatives with technical input.
• Drive documentation, archiving of construction drawings and related technical documents.
