Job summary

Cornelissen in Tilburg zoekt een Teamleider Transport die een divers team van circa 75 chauffeurs aanstuurt. Je bewaakt de operatie, ziet wat er speelt en bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor je drivers en mentoren.

Je zorgt voor duidelijke afspraken, ondersteunt bij problemen en streeft naar hoge service en veiligheid. Je loopt mee met de drivers, analyseert data en vertaalt bevindingen naar concrete verbeteringen.

Qualifications

• MBO+ werk- en denkniveau vereist.
• Relevante leiderschapservaring in transport/logistiek gewenst.
• Digitale vaardigheden zoals ATS, TMS, Power BI en online samenwerking.
• Beschikbaarheid voor 40 uur per week en weekend/avonddiensten.
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands en Engels of Pools en Engels.

Responsibilities

• Directe aansturing van een internationaal team van chauffeurs (ca. 75 FTE) en mentoren.
• Uitvoeren van prestatie- en afwezigheidsbeoordelingen en regelmatige communicatie met het team.
• Zorgen voor een soepele onboarding en ondersteuning gedurende de carriere van chauffeurs.
• Monitoren van boordcomputers, tachograaf en verplichte trainingen.
• Samenspraak met fleet-coördinator over voertuigen en onderhoud.

Moving together, you give direction to our transportteam in Tilburg.

As teamleader transport at Cornelissen you lead a diverse team of around 75 drivers.

Together, you ensure our customers receive their deliveries safely, reliably, sustainably and on time. You are the first contact for your drivers and mentors: approachable, engaged and always willing to find solutions. That's how you make the difference: for your team, the customers and Cornelissen.

Your role as a Teamleader Transport

Tilburg is our biggest and most dynamic location with 400 drivers. You maintain a clear overview of the operation, knows what's going on and ensure everything runs smoothly in the operation and at our base. You are visable, drive along with the drivers and encourage your team to improve themselves on a daily base.

You address issues when necessary and maintain high standards of quality: preventing damage, delivering on time, providing excellent customer service and working towards Cornelissen's ambitions for a greener and more digital future.

Your role goes beyond managing the daily operation. You also take responsibility for the organisation and practical matters at our depot. You're hands-on, take initiative and make sure everything is in place to keep the operation running smoothly.

The ambience? Typical for the province of Brabant: warm, down to earth and "gezellig". There's time for a chat over coffee and a laugh during a meeting, but when things get busy, you and your two fellow team leaders pull together to get the job done.

Our base is home to drivers from different backrounds and nationalities but everyone speaks the language of teamwork and respect. In Tilburg we are really working together as one team with attention for the driver, pride in our profession and commitment to doing a good job.

How you make impact:

• You are directly in charge of an international team of drivers and mentors (around 75FTE).

• You conduct performance- and absence reviews and maintain close contact with your team.

• Drivers comes first: you ensure a smooth onboarding process and provide support throughout their carreer to reduce staff turnover.

• You monitor the use of board-computers, tacho and mandatory trainings.

• You cooperate with the fleet coordinator to ensure vehicles are safe and maintained.

• You analyse data and trasnlate your findingst into concrete improvement actions.

• You manage the planing of leave requests and work towards maintaining a healthy staffing level.

• You regularly visit our customers and are on the road to be close to the action.
