Job summary

TU/e invites applications for a 2-year postdoc position in the Laboratory of Chemical Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). The role targets development of standardized LC-MS/MS reference methods for protein tumor biomarkers in clinical diagnostics.

You will conduct hands-on targeted proteomics, validate SISCAPA workflows, plan experiments, document results, and contribute to publications and SOPs. Fluency in English is required; Dutch not necessary.

Qualifications

• Hands-on research in targeted proteomics and LC-MS/MS.
• Experience with triple-quadrupole MS and MRM/SRM/PRM.
• Protein/peptide sample prep and immunoaffinity enrichment.
• Method development and validation including calibration and QC.
• Strong English writing and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on research in quantitative targeted proteomics.
• Select signature peptides and calibrations using isotope standards.
• Compare reference methods with immunoassays.
• Plan experiments and maintain documentation; analyze data.
• Publish findings and contribute to SOPs and project reports.
