VDL Groep zoekt een enthousiaste Mechatronic Systems Engineer die complexe technische uitdagingen omzet in betrouwbare oplossingen. Je ontwerpt, ontwikkelt en optimaliseert mechatronische systemen in een high-tech omgeving.

Je werkt in multidisciplinaire teams van mechanische, elektrische en software engineers en bent betrokken gedurende de hele productlevenscyclus, van concept tot validatie en implementatie.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Systems Engineering of a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a technical development environment.
• Knowledge of system architecture, requirements engineering, and product lifecycle management.
• Experience with V-Model based Systems Engineering is an advantage.
• Familiarity with tools such as Siemens NX and TC requirements management.

Responsibilities

• Definieer en onderhoud systeemarchitecturen en technische specificaties.
• Vertaal klant- en gebruikersvereisten naar system-level ontwerpen.
• Integreer mechanische, elektrische en softwarecomponenten tot volledige systeemoplossingen.
• Voer risicoanalyses, FMEA’s en systeemvalidatie uit.
• Ondersteun engineeringteams bij technische uitdagingen.
• Verifieer en valideer systeemprestaties via testen en analyse.
• Identificeer verbeterpunten en implementeer innovatieve oplossingen.
• Dienst uitvoering als technisch aanspreekpunt voor interne en externe belanghebbenden.

De functie

We are looking for an enthusiastic Mechatronic Systems Engineer who can translate complex technical challenges into innovative and reliable solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of mechatronic systems within a high-tech environment.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams of mechanical, electrical, and software engineers and be involved throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from concept and design to validation and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain system architectures and technical specifications.
• Translate customer and user requirements into system-level designs.
• Integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components into complete system solutions.
• Perform risk analyses, FMEAs, and system validation activities.
• Support engineering teams in resolving technical challenges.
• Verify and validate system performance through testing and analysis.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions.
• Act as a technical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Jouw kracht

You are an experienced engineer within a technical development environment and have strong analytical and problem solving skills. You have a structured and methodical way of working and exellent communication skills in both Dutch and English. Furthermore you have:
