Job summary

ams OSRAM in Eindhoven is seeking a senior technical advisor to lead customer engagements, translate architectures into IC concepts and drive CMOS system architecture for optical interconnects. You will collaborate with Product Management, R&D and Marketing to shape future solutions.

Requirements include a Master’s or PhD in EE/Microelectronics/Photonics/Physics, proven experience with mixed-signal CMOS, photodiodes and TIAs/SerDes, and willingness to travel ~50% to engage with customers

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Photonics or Physics
• Proven experience with mixed-signal CMOS, photodiodes, analog front-ends, drivers, TIAs or SerDes
• Extensive industry experience in datacom, networking or optical interconnects
• Solid understanding of datacenter (optical) links, transceivers and architectures
• Strong system-level thinking across optics, electronics, packaging and integration
• Experience working directly with customers on complex technical challenges and willingness to travel globally (approximately 50%) to engage with customers on-site
• Ability to translate market needs into differentiated semiconductor solutions
• Excellent English communication skills; German is a plus
