Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Public Cloud Engineer to design, implement and monitor its Public Cloud infrastructure in Amsterdam. You will manage Linux systems, networking components and virtualization, and automate repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency.

This role includes on-call duties, incident support, and leading peers toward effective solutions while ensuring service availability. Collaboration with DevOps to build reliable platforms and interfaces through API and the Customer

Qualifications

Experience with Python for automation and testing (or Golang).
Knowledge of Linux OS, preferably Ubuntu.
Experience with Shell/Bash is an advantage.
Excellent knowledge of virtualization technologies (KVM, QEMU, Libvirt).
Experience with configuration management tools (Chef, Kubernetes).
Experience with MySQL and Galera cluster.
Switch Management (Arista/Juniper).
Experience with monitoring platforms: Prometheus, Nagios/Icinga.
Good command of written and spoken English.
