Job summary

Danone Nederland is offering a Sustainability Intern position in Hoofddorp, focusing on embedding sustainability across the organization. You will support strategy development, communicate initiatives globally, and collaborate with multiple teams to drive cross-functional impact.

The role requires a Master student, strong communication, Excel/PowerPoint skills, and fluency in English. Hybrid work with at least two days in the Hoofddorp office is available, starting January 2027 for 6–8 months.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a Masters student during the whole internship period.
• Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN (BSN).
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Available to start January 2027 for 6–8 months, 5 days per week.
• Able to work from the Hoofddorp office at least 2 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Participate in developing sustainability strategies through information scouting and benchmarking.
• Animate deployment of sustainability communications globally via local teams.
• Define and execute internal comm plan (newsletter, events, upskilling, engagement).
• Support internal marketing and sales in embedding sustainability into plans.
• Monitor insights and translate into actionable opportunities.
