Spot On Staffing is seeking a Supply Chain Process Excellence Lead for a permanent role in Rotterdam. You will lead process improvements across inbound/outbound logistics, drive digital transformation, and coordinate with business, IT and SAP teams to implement a future operating model.

You will manage a 4-5 person team and contribute to a global SAP S/4HANA rollout, shaping governance and process management while delivering tangible logistics enhancements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in logistics operations and supply chain processes.
• Experience with process improvement, digitalization or implementation projects.
• Consulting experience and ability to sell an advisory proposal internally.
• Experience with stakeholder management and preferably people management.
• Background in Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence is a plus.
• SAP experience is an advantage, but not required.

For an international organization within logistics and supply chain, we are looking for a Supply Chain Process Excellence Lead for a permanent position in Rotterdam.

In this role, you operate at the intersection of Supply Chain, logistics operations, process improvement and digital transformation. From the business perspective, you determine how processes can be structured more effectively and efficiently and translate this into the business, IT and SAP teams.

What will you do?

The organization is working on an extensive digitalization and transformation agenda. From the business side, you will be responsible for improving and professionalizing logistics processes. You will:

• Develop and implement improvements for inbound and outbound logistics.
• Develop a future proof Target Operating Model and create internal support for it.
• Bring business, IT and external implementation partners together and jointly determine the right direction.
• Translate process designs into concrete requirements for SAP consultants, Product Owners and Business Analysts.
• Challenge designs and solutions proposed by implementation partners.
• Introduce and professionalize Business Process Management and process governance.
• Manage a team of approximately 4-5 professionals while remaining actively involved on a content level.
• Be actively involved in the global implementation of SAP S/4HANA.

You are therefore a hands‑on lead: someone who provides direction, brings people together and ensures that improvements are actually implemented.

Who are we looking for?

A Supply Chain professional with a strong logistics background and experience gained within consulting, business transformation or a similar environment.

You bring

• Experience with logistics operations and supply chain processes.
• Experience with process improvement, digitalization or implementation projects.
• Consulting experience and the ability to sell an advisory proposal internally.
• Experience with stakeholder management and preferably people management.
• A background in Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence is a plus.

The position

• Salary indication: €6,500 - €9,000 gross + holiday allowance, bonus and 13th month
• Management of a team of 4-5 professionals, with a larger span of control indirectly
• Significant scope to further build and develop Process Management
