Job summary

Evoke is seeking a Structural Engineer Construction in the Netherlands to design, calculate, and assess structural solutions for diverse projects. You will work from concept to completion, ensuring safety, standards, and sustainability while collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.

The role involves site visits, development of 2D/3D models, and reviews of calculations. A degree in structural/civil/construction engineering and relevant experience are required.

• Relevant experience as a Structural Engineer.
• Experience with structural analysis and design software.
• Knowledge of building regulations, standards, and construction methods.

• VCA certification or willingness to obtain one.

As a Structural Engineer Construction, you will work on high-profile projects ranging from iconic buildings to large-scale industrial facilities. Your calculations and engineering expertise will form the foundation of projects that make a real impact.

As a Structural Engineer Construction, you will be responsible for designing, calculating, and assessing structural solutions for a wide variety of construction and industrial projects. You will work on projects from the initial concept phase through to completion, ensuring that structures meet all relevant standards, safety requirements, and sustainability goals. Your work will include structural analyses, dimensioning calculations, reinforcement calculations, and the development of detailed engineering models. You will regularly visit project sites to perform inspections, collect data, and assess existing structures. In addition, you will collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to develop practical and innovative solutions. You will review structural models and calculations, participate in coordination meetings, and contribute to technical decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. Depending on your experience level, you may also guide junior engineers and provide technical input on complex structural challenges. Projects include landmark buildings, industrial facilities, and large-scale renovation and construction projects.
