Job summary

TenneT is seeking a Strategic Project Planner in Arnhem to monitor, review and integrate project schedules across a large offshore program. You will provide strategic planning insights, assess impacts, and support claim management activities with a focus on transparency and governance.

The role requires a relevant degree, 3+ years in planning, and expertise in Primavera P6, Excel, and Power BI. English fluency is essential; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Engineering, Project Management or comparable discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in project scheduling and planning
• Proven experience with contract strategies and claim situations in project environments
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with Oracle Primavera P6 (minimum 3 years)
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Power BI is highly preferred
• Living in the Netherlands
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); Dutch language skills are an advantage but not mandatory
• Willingness to travel when required

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and assessing Contractor Programmes against contractual requirements
• Monitoring project progress and performing schedule deviation analyses
• Supporting the development and implementation of mitigation and recovery measures with project teams
• Evaluating schedule deviations and assessing impacts on projects and portfolio
• Forecasting potential schedule shifts and evaluating impacts on milestones
• Supporting the preparation and substantiation of claim defense dossiers
• Providing periodic planning reports, KPI dashboards and schedule scenario analyses
• Acting as the primary point of contact for planning-related questions between contractors and project teams
• Supporting the implementation and reporting of planning datasets using Excel and Power BI
• Contributing to Scheduling Maturity Model (SMM) improvements
• Supporting development of planning methodologies and project controls
• Delivering strategic schedule analyses and management reports for decisions
• Integrating planning data into project risk assessments and risk registers
• Translating scheduling insights into strategic recommendations
