Job summary

The International Criminal Court seeks a proactive Planning and Control Officer to join the Prosecutorial Administration Services Division in The Hague. You will support the Head of Team, conducting research, preparing reports and leading planning activities with data-driven insights.

Under supervision, you will help advance POS and PASD policies, coordinate performance indicators, and manage risk documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and evaluative skills with ability to conduct independent research and analysis, identify issues, formulate judgements and make conclusions and recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills, effective presentation skills, excellent drafting skills and ability to prepare and present reports that are clear, concise and meaningful.
• Strong planning and organizational skills, with flexibility and ability to adjust in a highly dynamic environment.
• Ability to keep strict standards of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research, collect and collate management information in support of planning, reporting and implementation of activities within the Financial and Confidential Operations Team (FCOT).
• Provide support to the Head of Planning and Field Operations Unit in the development and updating of POS and PASD policies and OTP’s strategic plan and policies by conducting research, drafting proposals, gathering and consolidating information.
• Assist in all POS and FCOT projects as a focal point for performance indicators and other ad hoc intra and inter-Organ working groups and special projects by providing support in planning activities and drafting reports and presentations.
• Assist in the implementation and updating of an overall Sections' risk management system including record keeping, analysis and reporting of results.
• Undertake research, evaluation and analysis on a range of subjects which assist quality improvement within the POS.
• Perform any other duties as required.
