Job summary

LG Electronics Benelux is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to support the Benelux legal function and serve as a strategic advisor to senior management. You will oversee all legal matters related to commercial contracting, competition law, GDPR compliance, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance, partnering with business leaders to enable sustainable growth while mitigating risk.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Law (LL.M. or equivalent).
• EU-qualified lawyer preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant legal experience in multinational corporate or top law firm.
• Experience in commercial/contract law, EU competition law, and GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the legal advisor to senior management across the Benelux region.
• Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
• Lead competition/antitrust compliance initiatives and training.
• Oversee GDPR compliance and privacy governance.
• Support governance, investigations, audits, and regulatory interactions.
• Manage external counsel and legal budgets.
