Job summary

Heerema Marine Contractors is seeking a Corporate Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead and elevate cybersecurity across the Heerema Group. You will shape strategy, governance, and operating model with executive sponsorship and a dedicated budget, while guiding a high-performing team in complex maritime environments.

You will report to the CEO and CFO, partner with the VP IT & Digital, and drive maturity, risk management, and investment plans aligned with business priorities.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in defining and executing cybersecurity strategy.
• Experience communicating with Executive Management and Board-level audiences.
• Strong familiarity with ISO 27001/27002, NIST CSF, GDPR, NIS2.

Responsibilities

• Define, drive and continuously improve Heerema's cybersecurity across the Group.
• Lead the refinement and execution of the 2026–2028 roadmap.
• Oversee governance, risk management, and resilience across IT, OT, and cloud environments.
