Job summary

Kelvion Holding GmbH is seeking a Buyer/Purchaser to ensure materials are available when needed, monitor inventories, and liaise with production, engineering, and logistics to keep operations running smoothly.

You will report to the Operational Purchasing Team Lead in the Supply Chain department and contribute to delivery reliability and efficiency through proactive procurement activities.

Qualifications

• MBO 4 level of work and thinking; at least 2 years in procurement or related roles.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP is a plus.
• Clear communication with suppliers and internal colleagues; process-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFQs, evaluate quotes, and select suppliers with the Ops Procurement Team Lead.
• Place material orders in the ERP and verify price, quantity, delivery times, and terms.
• Monitor delivery times and contact suppliers for delays or discrepancies.
• Coordinate discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams and assist with invoice verification.
• Identify alternatives when items are unavailable, while maintaining quality and price.
• File purchase orders and supplier information, keeping admin processes up to date.
• Suggest improvements to purchasing processes to boost delivery reliability and efficiency.
