Job summary

JPGray - Netherlands is seeking a Business Controller in Hoofddorp. The role is hybrid, full-time, 40 hours per week, with a 12-month contract and potential extension.

You will transform data into actionable insights, deliver monthly reports, dashboards, budgeting and forecasting, and partner with commercial and operations teams globally. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, ERP experience, and a commercial mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, business economics, accounting, or related field.
• Experience in Business Control, FP&A, Commercial Finance, or management accounting.
• Strong analytical skills and financial modelling capabilities.
• Advanced Excel and experience with large datasets.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and reporting tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial mindset with ability to translate data into insights.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience in retail, fashion, e-commerce, consumer goods, or multinational organisations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis.
• Develop and maintain management dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Perform variance analyses and provide recommendations to management.
• Support pricing, margin, and profitability analyses.
• Build financial models and business cases for strategic initiatives.
• Analyse and consolidate large datasets from multiple systems.
• Improve and automate reporting processes and workflows.
• Support business intelligence initiatives and stock analysis.
• Act as trusted business partner to commercial and operational stakeholders.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and decision-making support.
