Job summary

ABN AMRO Bank N.V. zoekt een Domain Expert Data & AI binnen Mortgages. Je werkt aan high-impact AI-initiatieven en vertaalt bedrijfsuitdagingen naar schaalbare Data & AI-oplossingen. Je combineert strategisch denken met hands-on delivery en werkt nauw samen met senior stakeholders en data-teams.

Met een achtergrond in data en analytics, en ervaring in (Gen)AI, bouw je sterke business cases en leid je end-to-end trajecten. Engels vloeiend en comfortabel Nederlands werken zijn vereist.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (WO) en minimaal 5 jaar ervaring, bij voorkeur in top-tier advies of vergelijkbare omgevingen
• Aantoonbare ervaring in (Gen)AI, data platforms en analytics
• Sterke track record in het structureren van complexe problemen, bouwen van business cases en beïnvloeden van besluitvorming op senior niveau
• Ervaring met Data & AI use case ontwikkeling van concept tot implementatie
• Aantoonbaar vermogen om stakeholders op senior (MT/ExCo) niveau te managen en beïnvloeden
• Sterke analytische vaardigheden gecombineerd met uitstekende communicatie en storytelling
• Vloeiend Engels en comfortabel werken in het Nederlands

Responsibilities

• Identificeer en prioriteer high-impact AI-use cases en vertaal zakelijke uitdagingen naar Data & AI-oplossingen
• Bouw sterke, gestructureerde business cases (probleemdefinitie, waarde-drivers, ROI, risico's)
• Leid de structurering en levering van initiatieven met focus op wat echt impact heeft
• Werk nauw samen met senior stakeholders, Product Owners en analytics-teams om end-to-end uitvoering te sturen
• Dien als trusted advisor en geef richting aan besluitvorming
• Dien als het go-to AI-expert binnen het datadomein en verhoog AI-literacy
• Stuur mee aan de bredere AI-strategie en roadmap

As a Domain Expert (Data & AI), you operate at the intersection of business, data, and strategy. You identify high-value opportunities, shape compelling AI use cases, and translate complex challenges into scalable solutions. You bring a consulting mindset - structuring ambiguity, building strong cases, and driving measurable impact end-to-end.

You combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and are responsible for driving high-impact Data & AI initiatives across ABN AMRO Mortgages.

You will:

• Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases, translating business challenges into actionable Data & AI solutions
• Build strong, structured business cases (problem framing, value drivers, ROI, risks)
• Lead the structuring and delivery of initiatives, ensuring focus on what truly drives impact
• Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, Product Owners, and data teams to drive execution end-to-end
• Act as a trusted advisor, confidently challenging and guiding decision-making
• Act as the go-to AI-expert within the data domain, inspiring teams and elevating AI literacy
• Drive and shape the broader AI strategy and roadmap

Werkomgeving

You will join a team of domain experts and collaborate with colleagues from across the organisation - no two days will be the same. The Data Domain Mortgages is part of the Chief Data and technology Officer organisation within ABN AMRO Mortgages. As a Domain Expert, you play a key role in shaping our future data landscape and in developing new AI & Analytics solutions that support both customers and employees.

Key stakeholders span across Chief Operations & Distribution (CODO), the Chief Data & Technology Office (CDTO), the AI community, and senior management.

Je profiel

You are a seasoned professional with a strong consulting background and a proven ability to turn complexity into results.

Ideal experience:

• Masters degree (WO) and min 5 years of experience, ideally in top-tier consulting or similar environments
• Proven experience in (Gen)AI, data platforms, and analytics
• Strong trackrecord in structuring complex problems, building business cases, and influencing senior decision-making
• Experience driving Data & AI use case development from concept to implementation
• Proven ability to manage and influence stakeholders at senior (MT/ExCo) level
• Strong analytical skills combined with excellent communication and storytelling
• Fluent in English and comfortable working in Dutch
