Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Quality Systems Analyst to manage the IMS, EMS, and ISMS at the site, developing and maintaining ISO-aligned documentation and ensuring certification readiness.

The role focuses on conducting internal audits, maintaining QPs/SOPs, training staff, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to uphold quality, environmental, and information security standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a Master's degree, in Quality/Environmental/Management Systems in manufacturing/high-tech.
• Experience developing, implementing, and leading audits of IMS in semiconductor/electronics/pharma industries.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, 13485, 14001, 27001, AS9100, and IATF 16949.
• Certified Internal Auditor certification preferred.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across teams and management levels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of risk management methods (FMEA, FTA) and KPI usage.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and improve the Integrated Management System (IMS), including Quality, Environmental, and other applicable management systems.
• Plan, conduct, report, and follow up on internal audits and corrective actions.
• Develop, review, and maintain Quality Procedures, Work Instructions, SOPs, and IMS documentation.
• Review and approve document change requests related to the IMS.
• Monitor KPIs and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead continual improvement initiatives to enhance IMS effectiveness and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure compliance.
• Provide training and guidance on IMS requirements and best practices.
• Support external audits by certification bodies and customers.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory requirements.

Job Summary

This position works directly with multiple teams to support the development and implementation of a proactive Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Information Security Management System (ISMS). This includes the creation, training, deployment, auditing, and maintenance of the global Supermicro Quality and Environmental Managements Systems. Modify, update, and maintain records and documentation pertaining to site certification under ISO 9001 / 13485 / 14001 / 27001. The Quality Systems Analyst will be responsible for the local site's QMS, EMS, ISMS and other related management systems.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Integrated Management System (IMS), including Quality, Environmental, and other applicable management systems.
• Plan, conduct, report, and follow up on internal audits, including issuance, verification, and closure of corrective actions.
• Develop, review, and maintain Quality Procedures (QPs), Work Instruction Procedures (WIPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other IMS documentation.
• Review and approve document change requests related to the IMS.
• Monitor and analyze departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drive corrective and preventive actions where necessary.
• Lead and support continual improvement initiatives to enhance IMS effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality, environmental, and compliance issues.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on IMS requirements, procedures, and best practices.
• Support internal, customer, certification, regulatory, and third-party audits.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for IMS-related inquiries and provide guidance across the organization.
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Identify, communicate, and escalation compliance risks to management.
• Plan and coordinate external audits by certification bodies, notified bodies, customers, and regulatory agencies.
• Execute special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Environmental Science, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a Master's degree, in Quality, Environmental, or other Management Systems within a manufacturing and/or high-tech environment.
• Experience developing, implementing, and leading Quality and Environmental Management System audits in the semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, pharmaceutical, medical device, or related industries.
• Strong working knowledge of international management system standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, AS9100, and IATF 16949 (formerly ISO/TS 16949).
• Certified Internal Auditor certification for one or more ISO standards is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, customers, suppliers, and all levels of management.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of risk management methodologies (e.g., FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis) and performance measurement using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
