Job summary

CS GROUP, together with HE Space and Sopra Steria, offers an opportunity to help identify commercial opportunities in space-based services and digital technologies. You will engage with stakeholders, develop market strategies, and oversee project activities with partners to enable downstream space applications.

The role requires English fluency and experience in market research, business planning, and stakeholder management within the space sector.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Engineering or a relevant discipline from a recognized Institution.
Experience in satellite communications, satellite navigation or satellite Earth observation.
Knowledge relevant to space-using markets and the field of activity.
Experience in Stakeholder management and Market research analysis.
Experience in the preparation and/or assessment of business plans.
Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Identify and characterize commercial opportunities for sustainable space-based solutions and services.
Engage with private and public users to identify commercial needs for new downstream space applications.
Develop personal expertise to contribute to European market development strategies.
Act as a spokesperson for ESA’s strategy in your areas of expertise.
Supervise outsourced teams and provide technical guidance and quality control.
Collaborate with strategic partners to create sustainable space solutions and prepare work plans.
