Job summary

Bull is seeking a Sovereign Platform Engineer to help build secure sovereign cloud and AI platforms powered by confidential computing technologies. The role is based in Eindhoven, NL, with remote options within the Netherlands.

You will join the Enterprise Computing & Networking Competency Centre, driving innovation across R&D, product management, and CTO Office. You will evaluate technologies, prototype solutions, and industrialize platform components using Go, Rust, Python, or C/C++.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of platform engineering, cloud or cybersecurity experience.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, Linux, containers, cryptography, and attestation.
• Experience with cloud orchestration, automation, and systems engineering.
• Proficiency in Go, Rust, Python, or C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement sovereign Kubernetes-based platforms leveraging confidential computing tech.
• Embed security-by-design principles including cryptography, secure boot, attestation, and secrets management.
• Apply Zero Trust principles to workload identity, verification, and isolation.
• Define reference architectures and deployable patterns for sovereign cloud environments.
• Collaborate with Cloud Architects, customers, and partners to align platform roadmaps.
