Job summary

Sqills in Enschede is seeking a Software Tester to join our team and help ensure high quality across our software suite, including S3 Passenger. You will design and execute manual and automated tests and work closely with developers and analysts.

You will automate tests across API, GUI and integration layers, using modern tooling and best practices in an Agile DevOps environment. Enthusiasm to learn and grow is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ICT or related field.
• Knowledge of testing techniques such as ISTQB or TMap.
• Interest in DevOps and CI/CD in software testing.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and execute manual and automated test plans.
• Set up functional, performance, and security tests using various tooling.
• Develop automated tests in Kotlin, Go, Java or React.
• Provide quick feedback on regressions to developers.
• Advocate for quality within the team and facilitate continuous improvement.
• Automate tests at API, GUI and integration levels.
• Document test results and report to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve testing methods and tooling.
